Today: Hundred Seventy Split @ Blues Rhede
Tonight (11/3) at Fitzgerald's in Berwyn, IL:
A Tribute to Lowell George featuring the New Orleans Suspects and Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett of Little Feat
This will be a 3 set extravaganza, with Paul and Fred opening with an acoustic set, followed by the New Orleans Suspects, then joined by Paul and Fred for the final set. Tickets super inexpensive, for what will be a spectacular show. I last saw Paul and Fred do the acoustic Feats thing, years ago at the Back Porch stage at House of Blues--they gave me their setlist, and signed it, after the show.
(As an aside, when I saw Coco Montoya on 10/20, he played a song he and Paul had written, and mentioned that Paul had been having health problems. So I'm doubly glad to be able to see him performing tonight.)
