Re: Hi Everyone!

Yes, I started on an acoustic as well! Recently just bought an electric though. It's an epiphone les paul cherry burst, and it literally called my name when I saw it! I had one of those moments off waynes world when all I could say was "it will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine" haha anyways yeah I agree with you Jigsawearth83 when it is really daunting when all your favorite guitar players are guitar gods and all you want to play is their music! I have learned a couple Joe songs, but any others are too far above my level to even try at the moment. I didn't pick up the guitar to have a band or anything like that, mainly I just wanted a new hobby to keep me busy. It has been a great learning experience for sure, you definitely have to have enormous patience!

Nice! I've had those "it will be mine" moments as well... unfortunately sometimes it happens with the most expensive custom pieces that I can only dream about! Like this beauty: http://prsguitars.com/forum/showthread. … N-S-BREATH   ... someday, perhaps!

Glad to hear I'm not the only semi-beginner around here. I, too, have learned some easier ones of Joes's (Happier Times, Bird on a Wire) just to strum along to the DVD, and have also had fun charting some of his solo parts in my tabs book that I use for my guitar lessons... the bridge in Django, and little bits of So It's Like That. Keep me posted on how it's going for you!

Re: Hi Everyone!

Hello all,
I am John, 22 years and i am new in this forum. I loved listening to guita.

Re: Hi Everyone!

Hi John and welcome to the forum.
If you'd like, you can create your own introduction topic so you're not hidden in someone else's topic. Go to the main Introduction page and in the upper right corner, there's a "Post New Topic" link that will let you start your own introduction.
Most people would love to hear how you discovered Joe, if you've ever seen him live, etc.
Again, welcome to Joe's Forum!
