Topic: Jason Wilbur (John Prine's guitarist)

I am going to a friends house today for a private concert. John Prine is playing at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall tomorrow. I don't know anything about Jason, but I'll report back tonight. I just think it's very cool that my friend arranged this.........Cathy

What a nice guy! From Indiana. Was playing in a club at 17. John Prine came in and played with them. He said he made such an impression of John that he called him 10yrs later and offered him a job. Funny..He sang the funniest song "The Ballad of Amazing Grace and Sideshow Dan"....did a nice acoustic set then jammed on a strat (but low key)..He had not heard of Joe..GASP..so I took the CD out of my changer and gave it to him..at least John Prine will know the name Joe Bonamassa......

No suhl, it was just Jason and he has 4-5 CD's himself. During the jam (with Jason and other musicians from the party) they did play "Please don't bury me...." which is one of my favorite JP songs......
