Re: Louisville Palace November 5

Thanks for the positive feedback.  I know it will be fine.  and for sure will tell anyone who wants to hear about it.,  Hoping to meet with lizzee and others before the show

Re: Louisville Palace November 5

Well officially less than a month away.  Really excited.  Lizzee said she was going to a show in Louisville this weekend or next (can't remember)  and will check out what bars/dining options are near by.  I know there is a Bluegrass Brewing Company location.  They have great beer.  Never been to the Fourth Street location but pretty sure the menu's are the same.

We have a meet and greet  at 4ish then we are free to meet with any that are inclined to do so.

Re: Louisville Palace November 5

wvgirlinky,
I am keeping up with your days-til-show posts because my shows are right after yours!  I am so ready to burst with excitement to see Joe again.  When I first saw Joe last April, I was just dumbstruck, in awe.  The whole 2.5 hours went by in a blur.  I can't remember much of it.  THIS time, I will keep each moment saved away because I'm ready for what I am going to see and hear.  That sounds crazy I know.  I was just so blown away by my first JB show

I'm addicted.

Re: Louisville Palace November 5

Caniac, not crazy totally understand.  Same for me. Have seen Joe twice but both went by so fast.  That's why I want more.

Re: Louisville Palace November 5

I am really looking forward to this show but I am not doing the meet and greet this time.  My wife will not be coming so one of my band mates is coming with me.  We will be open to whatever restaurant everyone wants to meet at.  Joe playing at the Palace is about as good as it gets.  (Although Jeff Beck about burned the place down when he played there!)

Really excited about seeing Joe back at the Palace too! It is such a great venue. We saw ZZTop there last year and while waiting in line in the bar area before the warm up band they played Don't Burn Down That Bridge smile Thought that was preety cool! Hate that I missed Jeff Beck there, and one of my all time favorite concerts ever was Traffic there in 1994 and we're going to see Steve Winwood there on the 21st  cool

Love Steve Winwood,  Traffic has always been a favorite.  Low Spark of High Heel Boys is the best in my opinion.

Only 20 days now.  Lizzee let me know your thoughts on a get together after you go to your next show.  Can't wait to meet you.  Not sure what seats we will have at this show.  Doing meet and greet and won't get my tickets until day of.  We have seats for our son in row H. Orch 2 I think.    Where are the rest of you sitting?

Re: Louisville Palace November 5

20 days, omg! It is creeping up fast! Not sure where my seats are either since I also have the meet and greet! I'm assuming they will be good seats though!

Re: Louisville Palace November 5

Orchestra 2, Row R, Seats 3 & 4

Re: Louisville Palace November 5

Two Weeks.  After waiting  a year with out seeing Joe  I am having withdrawals.  So excited to see the new show.  I hope that I get to see that Nyckyleharpa(sp) and the banjo.   Of course, Lenny Castro may have invented some new percussion as well.  So glad Joe is feeling better.

Shout out to Lizzee, did you have time before your show  to check out the pub or bars near by?

Re: Louisville Palace November 5

Wow only 10 days.  Hope to get to meet you all.   Also have a new friend from facebook that will be there.

Re: Louisville Palace November 5

Well,  here is some info for those of you wanting to get together before the show.   I called Bluegrass Brewing Company at 4th street and Theatre Square.  I think this is where you guys met last time  he was in Louisville.  They won't take a reservation on days of shows. But the lady said if someone shows up around 5:45  they should be able to accommodate a party of 8 to 10 without any trouble.  I have a facebook friend, Linda who said she would be at BBC around 5:45 to get a table.   I hope you all have time to come  and meet before the show.   If you would like my cell phone number send me a forum email.  Thanks.

Forgot to add this place is just down the street from the Palace.

Re: Louisville Palace November 5

hi mary, so i'm assuming we would just head over there after the meet and greet? Would love to meet up!

Hossier,   I sent you a forum email but just in case you did not get it.  Erdragoo and I are doing the meet and greet and then will go over to Bluegrass Brewinging Company just down the street.   Have a friend Linda T from Bonanation forum that will be at BBC around 5:45 ish.   So Just look ask for her.   I will tell her to let the hotstess know  others are coming.

Re: Louisville Palace November 5

That sounds great.  My email address has changed. I need to get it updated on here. I'll see you all at the bbc. Thanks for making the arrangements.
