Topic: Glacier National Park

A few people expressed interest in the recent trip my wife and I took to Glacier National Park in NW Montana.
It's a spectacular place, and is often referred to as the "Crown Jewel" of the U.S. National Park system.

Lots of pics, but if you're interested, you can see them here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/billsta14/ … 5431785967

Thanks for posting these, Bill!  Beautiful.  You can really get a sense of the enormity of it all.  I can almost smell the cool crisp mountain air!

Re: Glacier National Park

Glorious scenery Bill. I was near there fishing Lake Pend Oreille in Northern Idaho once for kokanees. Same kind of country. High ranges, deep forests and lots of water and wildlife. smile

Re: Glacier National Park

Stunning!! Like Rick B., I have also fished the general area although not in the park itself. I love Montana! If it wasn't for the winters, I'd move there.

Why don't we eliminate all the warning labels and let things sort themselves out?

Re: Glacier National Park

Loved this. Just hard to believe how wonderful this park is
