Topic: 108 Rock Star Guitars (book) by Lisa Johnson (including Joe's)

Read an article about a new coffee table book in today's (10/8/13) USA Today featuring photographs of rock star guitars.  The article indicates the author / photographer's passion and patience for her 17 yr project...which I liked to hear.  The article drops a name or two of who she tried to get, who took a while to get, and who said no.  (Hoping a JB is in there, but guessing not.)

Don't know if the article will appear for everyone (I subscribe to the print edition, not E edition...I googled the article title..and it appeared on my screen..so here goes...

If not, the book is called 108 Rock Star Guitars by Lisa Johnson.
USA Today's article was titled: "Guitars are stars for photographer Lisa Johnson"

Congrats to all who scored good seats to 2014 today.  Phil-ly!!!....Phil-ly!!!...Phil-ly???

EDIT:  I just checked out the books website to get more info: http://108rockstarguitars.com/  It does list Joe as included. Wonder which guitar?? smile  (Also, portion of book proceeds go to the Les Paul Foundation, which I did see mentioned in the USA T article.)

(I'm not connected to this book or author smile...but since I can "look" at guitars better than I can "play" them...I do consider them art...and an extension of the artist (and their personality), cool to connect the two together here.

Thanks for article and the link to the website to see the list.  I can think of a couple of people who would really enjoy this book.   The price tag is what got me though. Yikes!

Looks awesome! Crazy price though, $176.95 including shipping to Holland, even the Dumblebook was cheaper.

Local online bookstore (bol) has it for €65,- so I'll probably order it from them smile
