I hate to plead ignorance but that looks like G.E. Smith? love Joe's tele, but is it a Gig or an older Music Man. The head stock looks like an MM but don't see any markings. thanks for posting it.

That is a Gigliotti, think Joe may have said it was a Prototype or something at one point ... memory is foggy

Yes, I believe that particular guitar is the prototype for the JB Gigliotti. That guitar was one of the guitars Joe played at a somewhat last minute gig at a blues festival in northern Minnesota in August 2007, right after they returned from Europe and a few days before the main US fall tour was going to start. It was in a of a case of backup guitars Joe had at the time, while his main gear was going to their originally scheduled first stop on the tour.
