Re: Insanity reigns during the Pre-sale!

Toronto didn't even post that the show was on till 9am this morning.
Had 2 great tickets for row 6 center and the web page wouldn't complete
more than 1/3 of the back section was already taken.. REALLY?
I think they block off tickets before the pre-sale starts sometimes.

by the time I got back in I was off to stage right (that's left seating to you non-theatre people) but I got row 3 isle.
so hope they are good

Joe spends a lot of time down-stage right.. that's the section I always shoot for.

Not an uncommon result. There were huge pileups at many venues with similar results to yours. Nashville was insane and most had to settle for balcony seats that I heard of.
Better luck next time. J&R have no control over the TM or LN sites. Sometimes it is better to take what is offered on the fly as best available. I was trying to help out some pals by tag teaming multiple sites and scored fab pit seats for Davenport and nosebleed option in Nashville which I let pass since they got better.

Sure, I understand that J&R has no "control" over the TM or LN sites, but Joe and J&R should certainly have some influence over their performance if he is going to allow them to sell his tickets, and also should provide feedback to them regarding the difficulties that his fans are having in purchasing.

Not a knock on Joe, but come on! You don't really think he has any chance of influencing those behemoths in any way, do you? They do what they want to do...with impunity.

Hey TX Sommelier, like the handle!!  Yes, I was surprised at some of the venues for the Spring tour as well...Fargo?

I'm not at all surprised to see Fargo. In fact, I'm more surprised it will be almost 6 years since Joe last played there since he was such a huge hit at the Fargo Blues Festival in 2008. The Fargo metro area has a population of over 200,000 people - more than enough to support a show. Native son Jonny Lang helps keep the interest in the Blues pretty strong in that part of the world.

I covered all the bases...downstage left for Omaha, downstage right for Sioux City, and I'm sure Patty will hook me up somewhere in the middle for Des Moines, just like last time...  wink
