Prague-Saturday

it was a perfect ending for the 3 weeks of holidays i had. the last 3 days we spent in prague which is a beautifull city and getting a nice concert along with it worth the travel even more.
after seeing joe in nürnberg in feb.  i wanted to see him again this year and got my tickets since long long time. what i prefered in nürnberg was the interaction between arlan and joe. there is less or none now. keyboards are still very present and get there part in the show, but not like that before.
joe had a very very big stage and all the venue was very big and not sold out at all. moreover lots of people came in to late.
setlist was like in other shows before but no mountain time in prague which i missed.
there is a lot written about the sloe gin story allready and me too, i love this song. really enjoyed it when he played it with that long silent intro. what joe is doing now with it, is playing an endless solo that puts you back in your seat and i melted down of that music i got into my ears and in the whole body. thats what i call wonderfull. for me the absolutly highlight of the evening. he really doesnt like to play it anymore? it doesnt sound like.
for those who are interested (and sure there are some) .............he had turquoise socks on. thats what my girl friend told me.
and i hardly get used to those seats, so comfortable, so cozy, so perfect which are more made to watch a movie than a rock/blues concert, i watched a few who had the same problem and wanted to move more.
hoping for some german shows next year.
