Topic: New Song "City Of Kings"

hey guys......just finished up a new tune, "City Of Kings". I'm a massive Lord Of The Rings fan and finally got around to doing a tune about it. my buddy skizzy helped write a few of the lyrics and did the gtr solo in the middle of the tune. all else was written and performed by me. I hope you can check it out and let me know what you think.....the link for the song also includes the lyrics, for those who are interested in the subject matter......and yeh yeh, I know, it's goofy as hell to write about wizards, hobbits and the one ring.....but i personally find that more interesting these days most other subject matter.....so just bare with me!  LOL

Awesome! I don't think it's weird at all to write about Lord of the Rings. If I recall "Ramble On" by Zeppelin referenced Lord of Rings also! smile Good tune!

very good song Mark, certainly not your KY Headhunters. I hate to compare but it does sound a lot like Ozzy in his days with Randy Rhoads.

i love ozzy, especially the ozzy with randy stuff and i've had that comparison made before....it's not intentional on my part at all but not a comparison that bothers me at all....i really dig ozzy's vocals, especially from those times.
