Our daughter, Eilidh McKellar, guested again with Joe and the guys at the MEN Arena, Manchester, last Saturday 21st September. Unfortunately we couldn't make it down for the gig and so missed her performance. Does anyone have any video footage or photos of Eilidh on stage with Joe that night? If you do, we'd love to see it. Joe is a brilliant guy and a great mentor to Eilidh.
...YouTube user 'trfcpepe' has recorded it and says he will be putting it up a.s.a.p! ....so check that channel in the coming weeks,days!
That is so cool - I remember watching a couple of Eilidh's videos years ago even before Joe has her up as a guest. She has a great touch on the guitar. That indefinable 'x-factor'. 
Hope she has lots of success in the music industry. Joe's mentorship will certainly be of immense value. We could have another Anna Popovic or Joanne Shaw Taylor here...

From looking at the video, it looks like she did a real fine job! You must be so proud of her! So wonderful of Joe to take her under his wing. Looking forward to seeing how her career progresses.

Please tell us how she and Joe got to meet, what was the circumstance? Did she win some kind of contest? Would love to know.

Sally, I believe Joe's dad actually came across the videos that Eilidh posted on Youtube (which I mentioned in my previous post). She did a take on one of Joe's songs, and I believe Joe's dad told Joe something along the lines of "She plays your song better than you do"... and that kicked off the whole thing! 
Devan is correct. Joe explains this in one of the videos on Eilidh's youtube account. I can't post a link as the tool deems it to be a spam attempt. Thanks Sally.

I remember seeing Eilidh's version of blues deluxe all those years ago and enjoying it. It's great to see her get on stage with Joe! Although you can also now label me as jealous haha

Ellidh's is a star... I'm happy to help out in anyway I can. I just discovered she can really sing and write songs too! Very proud of her and her development.

She seemed to have a great time,tho i didn't hear much of her solo playing,more chops with joe,rhythm stuff-no disrespect, cos to be invited onstage with joe,you gotta be good! You must be so proud,as you should be,from where i was sat sitting,the sound wasn't top-notch.Get her on tour with Joanne or Sandi,her own space, and she'll FLY!!
