I agree with all points here, I was very dissapointed with the tickets available and the ones that went right to slub hub. Great venue (aside from the fact that they need to put new seats in) and a fantastic city. Worst seats for any Joe show I have been to but as far as the trip maybe the best time we have ever had. Love the windy city and all it has to offer! It's a long trip from Des Moines to Chicago or vice versa, better make another stop in the QC's:)!

We are fully committed to Des Moines. Hotel (the same one smile ) and air tickets are in the mill. Looking forward to seeing the midwest crew again. Such fun last time, we will stay a bit longer this time to snoop around. Great venue, good times with BonaBuddies and what's not to like with that manager hosted open bar happy hour with a snack table setup gratis in the hotel atrium! I hope that is still running. tongue

Unfortunately, that's the Chicago way. I've never been more upset about a show than I was for his first appearance there! I stood at the box office for two hours (by myself) and was at the window when tickets went on sale....I think those seats never touched a hand on their way to stub hub.

Love to see Joe at the Providence Performing Arts Center.......great soft seat theater......

I read on one of these forum postings that PPAC in Providence may be a reality.
I have seen Joe just about everywhere in New England except PPAC. I did see a play there - excellent venue.
Providence also has a great downtown for concert prepping!
Boston, Hartford, Springfield, Hampton Beach - does not matter- we will be there!

BTW, I just happened to see that George Strait's Farewell Tour will be in Des Moines at the Wells Fargo Arena on April 18th as well. Gonna be busy in Des Moines. I think we'll be booking a room at the Embassy Suites within the next day or so.

That sounds like a good idea Lee. George Strait will draw a huge crowd at the arena. I need to start getting a head count for Iowa Bonafest 2014...wheels are starting to turn. Going for the group experience again...so much more fun to be all together than to be scattered here and there.  That way Joe knows he's got a whole bunch of friends close by hangin' on every note and verse wink

Once they make their announcement it is public information.  I do not know of any other spring dates, but one could speculate that there are other midwest stops...I always wish for a trifecta wink

I saw on PBS last night that Joe will be coming to the Adler Theatre in Davenport IA Saturday April 19th!!!!!
Friday night in Des Moines and Saturday in Davenport sounds like a can't miss back to back throw down in Iowa!!!
I know they listed another Iowa date but I just saw the end of it and was so excited about the Davenport date that i missed it. COME ON PRE-SALE!!!!!!
