Topic: Told ya I'd Make it Bluesman...

Hey Jane, Cathy, Roy, and Mike.....thanks again for the welcome.....it was much appreciated.....

My name is Jim, I'm 55, divorced, and live In Pittsburgh.....GO STEELERS!!!

I've been into blues since high school.....I bought Leon Russel's (geeezzzz, now I can't remember the album...) and it had this little celluloid floppy of Freddie King.....and Goin' Down was on it.  That song grabbed me and never let go.....I still think it's one of the best songs ever.  BTW...Peter Green does a great cover with the Splinter Group.....be sweet if JB did too.....

I love cookin', great music, and big legged wimmins.....not necessarily in that order.....

Hey Jim, welcome to the forum.  Pittsburg is a great city.  We have seen Joe at Moon Dogs several times and Seven Springs.

Music is good for the Soul...

Hey Dave...

Saw Walter Trout At Moondog's a few years ago, then at Hartwood Acres in July (I think...), just an incredible show.....

Saw BB and Dr. John at 7 Springs.....you got good taste.....

I'm only 7 years into spreading my wings again (I was Little Feat, my ex was Barbra Striesand...), so I haven't hit as many as I would have liked.  But I saw Joe at BB's last year, and in the middle of town a couple of months ago.....

And have seen Sonny Landreth at the Rex on the Southside twice.....

Before that it was Little Feat, and...well, you know...SRV...

Oh yeah, and Cream at MSG.....oh yeah.....

Thanks Mary.....this is pretty cool, huh??

BTW...I just realized I have a cricket in the house (does it ever end???).....so, I was wonderin'.....is there a way to teach a cricket to keep time with the music?

Cuz as a drummer, this little wannabe is gettin' on my nerves.....

Jim, I don't know the formula, but I heard the rate of chirping is related to the temperature...I recommend wireless headphones!...Cathy  RED?  RED ALERT!! Must be from the Starship Bonamassa...I better go check for messages from Capt. Roy.........

Now THAT'S funny!!!!!

Nice time of year to be in Slippery Rock huh, Val?  I went to school at Grove City.....that is before they asked me to leave.....

I remember it well.....it was 1970.....and it was 1950 in Grove City.  They didn't have much of a sense of humor then.....
