Got our tickets for Birmingham Nov. 18th!

We are usually out of town when Joe hits Alabama, but hubby says we are going this year.  Yes, we are on the 3rd tier, nosebleed seats....but we will be there.  Our youngest son (Joe also) moved to B'ham this spring so we are making this a Joe&Joe trip.  We are really making an event out of it by arriving on Sunday, staying at a B&B 1.5 miles from the venue and around the corner is our favorite beer bar.  We plan to check out ,fully, Birmingham's vibrate beer scene and don't leave until Wed. to go home.

Now, my question becomes, is Joe going to go to Gip's Place like he did last time?  I know he's in Clearwater on Sat. night and Gip's has run into some issues with the city recently.  Our son has been and even gave us a CD from the guy playing that night named Chris Simmons from N. Alabama that was quite good.

I got to meet Joe at Nashville 2012 and hope to speak to him again this time.  I have to apologize for my question concerning not using the Flying V for the encore.  He looked at me incredulously at the time, but after seeing Beacon Theater I can now understand why.
