"Radar Love" by Golden Earing.

Probably one of the top 5 "driving down the highway" songs ever made. Joe could really shred this one up on guitar. And can't you just hear his voice on the vocal parts? Man, I'd really like to see him try it.

"Been drivin' all night my hands wet on the wheel"..........

Radar Love would not have been my first choice, but you had to ask, "can't you just hear his voice on the vocal parts?"  That is scary, 'cause I can and I already LOVE it!

I always loved Chicago's early stuff, even as a teenager. Not the later stuff, but the Terry Kath and Danny Seraphine era. I wonder what that group would have gone on to do if Kath hadn't died so young.

I think Joe could do a great job with the following from their first album, Chicago Transit Authority
"I'm a man"
"Poem 58" great guitar solos!
"South California Purples" some heavy blues influenced stuff!

Also from Zebra:
"The La La Song"
"Who's Behind the Door" great acoustics!

Seagull (Bad Co.)...ok, so I can't really take credit for this one, it was Joe's idea!!!

You know I've been waiting and waiting to chime in on this, just had to find the right song. Listen to the lyrics as well as guitars on this 70s monster " Rock Bottom " by UFO. I just got the new Tesla album, they just torch this! I would love Joe to spin this Bonamaasa style. Oh by the way if you havent heard the new Tesla, buy it...WOW!!!

Re: Covers you would love to hear Joe do

I was listening to "Tom Sawyer" by Rush this morning and I couldn't help but think about how cool it would be to hear Joe throw in some licks from that song!!  Like, it would fit perfectly in "Just Got Paid."

You created a monster with this topic! Every so often I hear a song that makes me think "It would be cool to hear Joe cover this one". On the way home tonight, it was "Maybelline".

I think we've heard of just about everything so far so what the hell why not have Joe cover We've Only Just Begun by the Carpenters. Did I just say that? Damn I've been medicated a little too long today!

J Dawg,
By God, I suspect that Joe would even find a way to make that song special!!

No sooner did I post that than my mind started imagining the same thing. You're absolutely right though, Joe could make any tune more palpable to the senses. Uh Oh! Do you think a JB Xmas disc is a possibility????
