Topic: Joe and LD

I finally registered! ....
Just want to say how excited  LD feels when Joe and the guys invite him to sit in. cool
The energy..wow. Joe is so nice to LD
How cool to be part of the YOU and ME cd as well!!  "Tap an Angel" is a definite favorite and "Your Funeral My Trial" of course:) So happy it is #1 on the billboard.
Not only is Joe an incredible musician, He is such a NICE person, he has totally checked his ego at the door.
He inspires our family. A down to earth hard working group of gentlemen (just LOOKING at their schedule makes me tired)
PEACE

Re: Joe and LD

Nice to "meet" you. I have to say, as far as I've heard, LD has lived up to every bit of what Joe has said about him "Your Funeral....." is a smokin' song as there is obviously a lot of feeling in the harmonica part that matches well with Joe is putting in.

Thanks for sending the LD link, with the video of him and Taylor Hicks messing around. Interesting and we hope to meet you guys in Vegas.

Re: Joe and LD

I will say this: LD Miller is the equivalent to Joe Bonamassa on harmonica. I expect big things from him. BIG THINGS. BonaBIG.

Re: Joe and LD

LD has become one of my son's idols. He figures if a kid can record and play on stage with Joe at 12, he has three years to work on his craft.

I was absolutely blown away by what I witnessed in Vegas. I look forward to seeing LD perform again soon.

Re: Joe and LD

I saw LD sit in on stage last year in Prairie Du Chein, Wis and I was blown away. Just wondering if that was the first time LD played with Joe. Thanks !

Re: Joe and LD

LD's playing simultaneous evokes the best of the new school like John Popper and conjures up a good dose of Butterfield, Musselwhite, and James Cotton. And this at such an early age when he has so much time to grow. He plays like a much older artist. Congratulations to those who exposed him to all the influences and let him step up and out. Congratulations to LD for taking it on and embracing it.

Re: Joe and LD

Enjoyed the video immensley!!!

Re: Joe and LD

I heard that LD (& possibly the whole Clayton Miller Band) are booked and will be making an appearance on America's Got Talent on NBC this summer. Should be a great show.
