Thanks for posting.  Just snagged it.

Play like you've worked at it, and don't worry about sounding like your influences.  You can't cheat on them, or your practice, anyway.  If you've worked hard at your skill, your audience will know it.

My download checker advised this contains virus spyware and data mining additions and aborted the d/l. Take care!

You know Rick there is nothing free in this world.. I have the file in my Itunes will try to send it let me know if you get it and it plays. I'm not sure where I got the file might of bought it might of just acquired it can't remember but I remember picking up Joe at the airport in Memphis and taking him to the session at Ardent studios where Devon was cutting the Torch record and asked Joe to come in and do the solo while he was in town judging the IBC competition. It was the same studio Bloodline cut their album in so it was pretty surreal. Hope the file works for you then I would say it was free except you had to hear me reminisce.

FWIW, (and you don't have to trust me on this)...I work in the industry of online fraud and fraud prevention.  And know a thing or three about virus payloads and the bad guys out there.  "Black hats vs white hats", so to speak.

There was nothing bad about that download offer, except for how the coding involved had been poorly done.  Plus that they are mining an e-mail address in exchange for the tune.  That's something that happens all the time in "Joe land", register to win a guitar, or a signed something or other...etc.

You may recall me raising an issue here about a false positive involving Joe B related stuff--and that wasn't even being upfront about asking for your e-mail in exchange.  I've not the time to dig out that specific reference, to a prior post of mine...it was involving the tribut site, and the street team shirt design, as I recall, though.

"Take care" online, always a very good admonition, nonetheless.

Thanks for looking in on that. I shy away when my front door guard says no. I have no problem with exchanging em for music and understand poorly written code. I got your em Jim, thanks.

Jim, you can reminisce any time.  big_smile  I know Devon was duly impressed by Joe's expediently succinct professionalism as well as his amazing, almost unbelievable talent.  It is a standout track on a very good album.  Devon gets a extra burst of palpable energy playing it LIVE every time.
