Thanks for the link. Very nice article. I was especially struck by this observation:

"...his music is a result of fresh experimentation based on the joys of playing, rather than a compromise born of the fear of stepping outside the rock blues formula."

That cuts to the heart of the debate about SG being different from previous works.
"...fresh experimentation based on the joys of playing", yeah that sums up Sloe Gin pretty well!

there has been alot on the forum lately about how different SG has been,but reallyI do not think its night and day.Its more of a curve into another direction. this review shows how at least some people can appreciate what Joes done with the cd.
