Topic: introduction of Sonordrummer

Hi. Just Joined (Sonordrummer). I'm a long time pro drummer/sometime keyboard player who is now studying guitar, after being inspired by the amazing talents of Joe Bonamassa. Hope you'll all forgive an alien (a drummer and a Brit!) for sneaking in on your site. Still coming to terms with the huge loss of Gary Moore, who lived close by me in southern England. Thank God we still have Joe to fill us with awe and inspiration!

At least you're not a bass player...  wink

Welcome to Bonamassaville, and have a blast making new friends and pursuing your interest in guitar. Tons of great folks in these parts to chat with about things like that...

Re: introduction of Sonordrummer

There are drummers and Brits in the Joe B forum.

You are by no means an alien....  So don't just sneak around, take your shoes off, and relax, you're among friends.

Welcome.

Play like you've worked at it, and don't worry about sounding like your influences.  You can't cheat on them, or your practice, anyway.  If you've worked hard at your skill, your audience will know it.

What a great welcome. Thanks to everyone for taking the trouble to say Hi. two of my pals (one a fantastic metal, rock and blues guitarist) were lucky enough to see Joe in Brighton last week. They say they are still absolutely blown away by an amazing experience. (told em so!)
