Topic: Linda Ronstadt

Couldn't find a topic on her through search.

Just heard her singing career is now over following her diagnosis that she has Parkinsons.

Although she had her own very successful solo career I shall always associate her with The Eagles and Jackson Browne with whom she performed and sang many times.

Not much to be said about her prospects sadly, other than that she'll handle it with dignity and class.

Here she is with her own rendition of The Eagles 'Desperado' from '77

Silver threads and golden needles cannot mend THIS problem either. Loved Lindas  music for decades.

Re: Linda Ronstadt

A heart-throb of my youth and a voice for the ages. She blazed her own path with grace and was able to cross vocal boundaries at will with her gift. I'll miss it.

Re: Linda Ronstadt

very sad to hear about this, I also grew up with her and loved everything she ever sang, especially the one with oldie covers with Nelson Riddle & orchestra. What a talent!

don't remember ever seeing this long of an artist's accomplishments on Wiki, worth a look.
