Welcome to the club. Way to go Natasha!
Rick
Thank you so much Sally! That is very sweet. I always thought it was kind of cool that we both had our first Joe shows at the same place, and we are exactly 2 months apart in registering on this forum. I know we'll meet some day when Joe is in the area.
And thank you, Rick as well, you know you're one of my favorite people
Discovering Joe, and subsequently this forum has changed our lives in more ways than I ever could have imagined. Our boys have been pretty good about dealing with our obsession. I imagine it must be weird for them to have both their parents so focused on one man and his music. Ryley has labeled me a zealot and when I've heard him singing along with the songs, he stubbornly insists he has been brain washed Cassidy has been somewhat more accepting and it always makes me smile when I hear him whistling Django or trying to play Seagull on the piano. He can be quite obnoxious at times though with his habit of yelling out Joey B! when I'm listening or watching a video. I never should have told him about the guy who sat next to me at the Beacon. They are good, responsible kids, though, and it's reassuring to know I don't have to worry about them when we jump on a plane or train to go to a show. Prior to discovering Joe, I had been looking ahead to a somewhat depressing future in our empty nest, since both boys will soon be away at school. Then Joe came into our lives, along with this amazing family of fans and our lives have not been the same since. Joe’s music has become an addiction the likes of which I have never experienced before and it was very comforting to find other like-minded individuals who felt the same way. Through this forum and having the wonderful opportunity to go to so many shows, we have now made friends with people all over the world. When we met so many in Europe this summer it felt like we were meeting distant cousins and relatives who all liked the same music. It was so much fun and everyone was so welcoming and friendly.
I always think of Joe as this kind of magical person because so many wonderful people are drawn to him and he has the ability to totally transform people’s lives for the better. Our dinner with everyone in Amsterdam really made me aware of the profound effect Joe and his music have had on so many people’s lives. It was truly inspiring to hear each person relate their personal Joe story and it’s something I will never forget.
We have only been a part of this for a short period of time compared with most on this forum, but in this short period we have been very fortunate to have experienced a number of interactions with Joe as well as Tal, Mike H., Bob and Roy, and they truly are a wonderful group of genuine, down to earth, amazing people. By going to so many shows this past year and a half we have also had the wonderful opportunity to meet so many from this forum. Jane, thanks for being such a great friend and being there for my Joemergencies. Rick, Rocket, Michael, Ron and George, you guys are just the best. So happy we have met you all as well as Cathy, Sandy, Maggie, Jay, Lizzee, Bibi, Lindy, Lori, Chris, Manoj, Sam, Gloria, Kennny, Lyn, the list goes on and on. Jim, thanks so much for everything, and Colin as well. We really appreciate it. Mary, if we ever see a show again featuring Warren, we will be sure to send you a copy. We are eagerly looking forward to future shows and meeting more of this wonderful family we have come to know through this forum.
Thank you, thank you to Joe for being so wonderful to us and bringing such joy into our lives with your incredible music. And thanks to everyone here for being such a great group of people to interact with. You really feel like family to us.
Natasha (and Phil)
Way to go. Natasha!!!!! It's been great to have you here!!!!
Congrats and welcome to the 'club'
Congratulations - you certainly have made up for lost time! Your posts and videos are a pleasure, and I look forward to meeting you again sometime.
Sandy
Great story, Natasha, and congratulations. I was trying to explain to somebody tonight that Joe changes lives. She said "What, is he some kind of healer?" My response - "Well... yeah!"

He is indeed a healer of hearts and souls...
Natasha: Huge congratulations! Don't rest on your laurels, though...
As for the kids complaining about being brainwashed, tell 'em to zip it and eat their cornflakes. When they start paying you rent, THEN they can complain about stuff...
Contratulations Natasha! I like to think we're all part of one big happy family too.
It was so much fun meeting you and your family in Amsterdam and I've really enjoyed reliving those two evenings on YouTube. Here's to your next 1000 postings.
Congrats.......!!!
Rocket? BonaBAH! hee hee hee

Since when does Rocket roll out the red carpet? Anyway, welcome aboard Natasha! A lot of great people here.
Since when does Rocket roll out the red carpet?
I prefer to think of it as the black carpet, but it is part of his charm, and a tradition...

Black? BAH! It is as red as a sailors's delightful sunset at sea, see? And bluesy as the deepest blue C note at the bottoms of the seize, see? And it is white as the shining blinding light of Joe Bonamassa's risen starshine in a newly spawned galaxy, see?

Natasha, it PAINS me to say this to you ( yeah, right!) BonaBAH!
You crazy, girl ! Proof of no such thing as too much of a groovy thing . Things ? Perhaps also not for certain things. Thanks a lot, now I have to expand the deaf-ignition...
Arise, Natasha, Lady Vidscountess, Rock Kin Mamacita of Maryland! Your worthiness of my nilly-silly scam is inscrutable. Carry ON into the light!

Pheww, I feel so much better now. Without that official Bonabah, I had been floating in a sort of limbo between two states of me(n)tal existential existence Thanks Rocket, love you too
Wow, Natasha and Phil, hard to believe you made it to Bona Status so fast. I totally agree with your feelings about Joe changing your life. As I have noted here before Joe changed my life in such a wonderful way. He was there in such a hard period for us. Wishing for us to meet soon at a Joe or Warren show. Love the life you have given to this great forum and bless you for being the videographer that you are. A dream come true, seeing Joe and Warren sing my favorite song.
May you post a 1000 more and keep lifting up our boy Joe.
