Topic: Hello

Well, hello... I am new here and to Joe. But, boy am I excited about his music. Oh, I am Erik by the way, lol.

   I just learned of Joe threw a giveaway he is having for the SRV guitar. I was once the music manager for a pawn shop and we where also a Fender dealer. We had one of these SRV guitars and it was the sweetest sounding guitar and played like a dream. It has been 15yrs since I worked there and I still dream of that guitar, but, never have had the money for it.

   Anyway, somehow or another I saw the giveaway for this guitar and of course entered. Several times... This guitar is my dream! It was nagging at me about who this artist was, who is doing this promotion. I too am very passionate about music and keeping it alive.  To be honest I held some doubts. I mean I love blues, but good blues, IMO, is hard to find. I also really enjoy his other stuff as well. So, I started searching Joe on youtube and listened and listened waiting for the bottom to fall out and for me to not really enjoy him. I am real picky about what I listen to.. as a musician of 25 yrs.. I expect a certain level.. cause I have worked hard to have my skills and there are to many bands that have a lack there of. Well, the bottom has not fallen out after tireless searching and I find myself very passionate about his music! My daughter loves his stuff, too. Which for me is a big deal. Family is first and foremost and it is wonderful to have common ground smile I have joined the street team smile now I am here as well. So, Hi!
