It's been a good year. I've seen Eric Johnson, Johnny Winter, Robben Ford, Matt Schofield and Joe Satriani. In November I'll be seeing Walter Trout. But before that I'll be seeing none other than Joe Bonamassa at the Cardiff Arena next month!

I saw the Jason Bonham Experience about 2 months ago and it was amazing! Jason really did a great job incorporating the music with the interesting facts and videos about his dad. One of the best concerts i've been too (excluding Joe of course)!

Goo Goo Dolls with Match Box 20 next week, and this morning I got 4 tickets to ZZ Top.  Show sold out in 20 min.  And it's at my favorite venue in town.  Gotta love it.

Tommy Emmanuel @ Elgin Community College Performing Arts Center (Blizzard Theatre), September 18th.

Was out at my sister and brother-in-law's place over last weekend, and we were talking about mutual desire to see him.  Both unaware that the above date was coming.  Purchased tickets immediately.  Decent seats, about halfway back, and off to stage right.

Should be great.

Play like you've worked at it, and don't worry about sounding like your influences.  You can't cheat on them, or your practice, anyway.  If you've worked hard at your skill, your audience will know it.

Harley 110th celebration starts in Milwaukee tommorrow. Time and weather permitting we plan on catching the following:

Thursday - Lynyrd Skynyrd, Alejandro Escavado, Joan Jett
Friday - Delta Saints, Buckcherry
Saturday - Jarred James Nichols, JD McPherson, Blackberry Smoke, ZZ Top
Sunday - Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown, Grand Funk

Hi there Rogue, great, I will also be attending.  Have researched places to meet up beforehand, but unfortunately there are no watering holes within a comfortable walking distance from the venue.  And it is not the safest neighborhood.  Hoping to have the chance to meet up with you and other Forum members somehow...
