Topic: Coming to California.......must see guitar stores etc

Hi folks,

I am lucky enough to be coming from Ireland on a tour comprising
LA, Orange County, San Deigo and Las Vegas.
Looking mainly for any guitar stores (not GuitarCentre)/ places to visit
while I am there.
I have Norman's Rare guitars and Fretted America on my radar for some drool time.
Interested in history/memorabilia etc as well, Are there any studio tours etc.

Appreciate any guidance,

I know you said not Guitar Center, but you should check out the West Hollywood Guitar Center. Their vintage room is crazy.
I've heard good things about Tone Merchants as well.

You should check out Norman's Rare Guitars in Tarzana. CA.   He has a great website and some wonderfully expensive vintage gear too. Check out his videos of all the famous  folk that shop there.  you will find our own Joe Bonamassa  visits there.

Taylor Guitars has their factory here East of San Diego in El Cajon and offers tours.
