Topic: Dan Patlansky

Dan plays an interesting lead guitar on this song by Jesse Clegg.  Different style and well-played.

Your rock candy baby
Your hard sweet and sticky

Re: Dan Patlansky

I think Dan Patlansky is great. I first saw him at the Blues Room in Johannesburg (South Africa) in 2004. His album "Move My Soul" floored me completely.
The acoustic album ("Wooden Thoughts") can be bought from his website danpatlansky.co.za, it is well worth it. He is maturing all the time.
Also, I am so excited that he is bringing his acoustic guitar to London in September :-) An I'll be there.

Re: Dan Patlansky

Nice bio and an interesting video at the bottom.  I'm going to get the new album if it's on Amazon.  DP's playing is way above the usual fare.
Here's a sweet little video.  Reminds me some of Henrik....and Jimi.

Tonight at 7pm CAT (that is 5pm GMT) you can see Dan performing an acoustic set live here:

I hope I got the details correct :-)

Thanks for posting the review (I'm reading it as if it is Afrikaans, so that leaves some spaces in my Dutch vocabulary)

Re: Dan Patlansky

Was contacted by DP via FB and he said he's working to get an American outlet for his music.  He also said he'll be touring the States soon.
