I know there was another thread started, but the search function doesn't always work very well. Anyway, it has been officially announced for April 12 and 13, 2013 at Madison Square Garden in NYC. Website now up with all the info:

Since Joe has shows on the west coast those two days it's obvious he won't be there, which is too bad. Still an incredible lineup. Wish we could go again, but it doesn't seem likely.
I'm glad Joe won't be there. That would be my biggest temptation. Looks like another stellar line-up. I'm glad to have had 2 Crossroads experiences, and understand the beauty of a climate controlled setting, but I'll wait for the DVD.

I won't be able to make it to the festival, but I will definitely be at the Dallas show on March 19!!!!!!!

Same here Cathy and Lee. We are going to have to forgo going as well. Not good timing, really different feel of a venue for a two day festival. Great line up as usual. EC is coming to Charlotte, so we will try to pick up tickets for that show.

I was disappointed that it wasn't in Chicago again. I'll just have to look forward to the DVD.
I think Joe playing at the RAH and Crossroads were high water marks recognizing his talent. Timing doesn't always work out when it comes to scheduling.
Just in case you didn't read this in the Sandi Thom thread, Sandi may have the opportunity to play Crossroads if she gets enough votes!!!

Billy used to play in a band we saw often and we've seen him locally often. We're going both nights, pretty much the history of guitar players
It'd be cool to see Keith Urban or Brad Paisley jam with Clapton or any of the other blues greats playing. Paisley said many times that he'd love to collaborate with Clapton, so maybe he'll get his wish at the festival.

We got our tickets last week or so, going to be at a IMAX, should be good.

IMAX is the only way to go. I have to see where it's showing here.
