Topic: Pete Thorn - Guitar Nerd

Found Pete surfing the web and found his playing quite good.  This song "Homage" has a Eric Johnson/Jeff Beck riffage.  Hope some of you like the song.

Curby, what a find.  Talented guy!!  Really like his playing.  Anyone else heard of him?

I watched a couple of his other vids, pedal demo, studio set-ups, etc.  The only artist he mentions in any of these was Joe, when discussing the Jim Kelly amp, that can handle good blues/rock "like Joe Bonamassa".

Pete Thorn is a great player.  I've got one song from Guitar Nerd, but haven't gotten around to picking up the whole album.

He toured w/ Chris Cornell, and has done a bunch of studio work.  He also does a lot of gear demos on youtube.

He was on an episode of Oscar's Guitar Shop podcast not that long ago, too.

Pete is great to watch and listen to! His current Gig is with Melissa Etheridge, where he supersedes Philip Sayce by the way!
