Topic: Greetings from New Zealand!

Hi Everyone.
I have just joined the forum, despite being a Bonamassa fanatic for years. Look forward to discussing everything Joe with you all along with trying to persuade Joe to come to NZ wink

Cheers.

Hi and welcome from an amazingly sunny and hot UK.  Enjoy the company of (mostly) like minded addicts. Feel free to add comments as and when you feel like it. I presume from the avatar you are a player. Why not do a full introduction on the introduction thread. big_smile

Come on the Blades (sorry Idolbone just had to borrow your line)

Thanks for the warm welcome.
A bit about myself: I live in Auckland New Zealand which is that little country next to Australia.  I've been playing guitar since 2005 and "discovered" the blues around 2009. Since then I have been a big fan of SRV, Eric Johnson, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, BB King and of course Joe who has been my main inspiration. My favourite 5 Bonamassa tunes would be Ballad of John Henry, Driving towards the Daylight, Slow Gin, Stop and Dislocated Boy. I play a modded Fender Highway One Strat into a Peavey Classic 30 however also have a modded Epiphone SG G-400 which I plan to replace with an ES-335 style guitar soon (JB Sig would be my dream gat if I could afford it.) I am a pedal freak and also like to build simple Loopers and Switches as a little hobby which I sell to local guitarists. I'm just finishing my last year of high school and then will be off to college to study Chemical Engineering.

That's me smile

Cheers, Kieran.
