If you look up to the heavens just before the start of every Joe Bonamasaa concert you can see Stevie, Jimi, Muddy, Gary and others leaning over God’s railing jockeying for the best view.
And if you listen, you can hear Stevie say  “ SHHhhhh,  The kids about to start playing.”

He gives hope to those of us who have followed him from the start...Keep doin' IT, Dave.  Diss-assembling the massive masses of massholes...all on a budget!

When you have Paul Shaffer as your bandleader, anything may show up.  All I can say to scoffers is you try doing that.  Once you appreciate the talent,.. That is when the musicality and musical worth and persona, etc. debates can be unleashed.  Then comes the trashing opinions, and their repudiations, from either the like, or the dislike camps.

So my sister has an annoying voice!  I  thinks she's kinda cute in an alienating kinda way...

Brack has taste after all! yikes big_smile He is pretty amazing for a shy guy, eh, Brack?!  cool

Love Dave!
You want to really be upset, find the segment where Joe plays on the George Lopez show...don't blink though.

Exactly!

If you won't watch a show like Letterman or for that matter Leno and Kimmel because of the musical guests I bet you go to bed early most nights.

Sure there are some incredibly lame musical performances on Late Night, but I've seen many that have just stopped me in my tracks good as well as discovering new acts that were very enjoyable. Dave's only been at it since 1982, obviously doesn't know what he's doing????? I watch pretty religiously and dig his sick sense of humor immensely. Leno is just plain dull and Kimmel's a wannabe, Dave's the real deal.

I saw this when it originally aired. Which is odd since I rarely watch late night talk. Happened to watch that night and I was almost in disbelief thinking it was a joke. My take on it is somebody owed somebody a favor. That is how it works. Their agent also represents someone else that they really want so they had to take that crap to get something that would draw audience. Until Joe can bring audience on his own which, he is nearing that point he will never be on there. PBS exposure for Joe is worth much more than a little bump from the exposure from today's late night television audience.

A lot more entertaining than Lady Gaga.

PBS was a great place for Joe, and is representative of quality programming.  Joe helped them raise money so they can continue to highlight educational TV smile
