It was very cool, the guest was Reeves Gabriels, most notable for being David Bowie's guitarist in recent years.

Thanks - just got tickets for Gathering of the Tribes in CT. Gov't Mule, Grace Potter and Tedeschi Trucks among others

Very cool, can't wait to see Tedeschi Trucks again.

You know there's a lot of hate on the Allman board for Susan. They think Derek was better in his own band before he merged bands with Susan. Me - I love them and seeing them, Mule, Grace etc. a lot this summer.  Doing a few festivals for the firt time in years although staying in hotels and VIP tickets lol.

George filmed Beth joining Gov't Mule onstage at the Roots in the Park Festival in Utrecht, NL to sing Soulshine with Warren Haynes for the first time... as well as I Don't Need No Doctor! Wow.    (Beth covered Soulshine on her 2007 album "37 Days.")

Nice! After seeing Mule three times in a week I'm seeing them at a few festivals in the US this summer.

Re: Gov't Mule

it was great to see Danny out from behind the Hammond last week:

http://youtu.be/l8gJFcjqbaM

- sound is  bit blown as we we were right in front of Jurgen's speakers, - and it was very interesting to see just how good he is close up, I confess that I do not realise it before last week. Warren on a baritone I think?

My YouTube channel with plenty of my Joe's videos dating from 2009 inc his first Hammersmith Odeon ones:

We first saw Danny get out from behind the organ a few years ago in Philly when they did the Halloween Rolling Stones show.

Uh-oh, if I see any of these things (and anything related) I'll be gone like a shot.

Re: Gov't Mule

Pete got a film of him waving his trombone around....

Oh man, MUCH better.  Not to diss Joe at all but Warren and Beth....sigh...
I've got a bracelet made from one of Warren's guitar strings (I tried to buy one of Joe's but they aren't made with a clasp option and I've got a smallish wrist) as well as A Derek Trucks one.
