Investigating this artist I was amazed he is participating on this year's The Voice.  The album Future Blues is a fine effort of all original songs in the vein of vintage Free.  The guitar playing just drips the sweat of its' classic predecessors.

So glad you found this Curby. I saw him on The Voice and thought he was great, but didn't know he had a cd out. He unfortunately lost out in the battle round. I do know that he plays something like 300 dates on Beale St. in Memphis if anyone has the opportunity to go see him. I'll definately try to get his cd today.

Why don't we eliminate all the warning labels and let things sort themselves out?

Guido - You'll love the album as it begs to be played loud.  Nice variety and vocals that match guitar prowess. Very rare these days with all the guitar gods who can't sing a lick.  I'll take Patrick every time.  Very refreshing album and I'll give it a 10/10.

Thanks for the heads up Curby. I never watch those kinds of shows since the fix is in for the teeny boppers and musicians of the genres I like rarely get anywhere. This guy can sing and play!

wow, I thought this was the same guy we met with Eric in Memphis. I had no idea he was on The Voice, missed it entirely. He was the leader of the house band at BB's in Memphis and always had good musicians sitting in with him from time to time. Eric played with him frequently. You know, it was loud in there and I don't recall anything special about his voice but he is pretty good on the git fiddle. Thanks for posting him Scott.

well, I found one of Patrick and Eric together but the vocals are not recorded well at all. I get the feeling we miss about half the song since they come in with the keyboards first.
