I went to the last show in Chicago, and dabbled, but mostly just sat in awe...

Some had sound issues, some sat too close, some had speakers in their way.

May 1st in Chicago....bonamassumptuous, if I got the reference, correctly.

There won't be sound issues. (she has good gear and Phil will nail the audio)
There is no such thing as Too Close. lol Though when Joe almost stepped on my camera in BonaVegas that might have been just a tad closer than comfort allows.
No speakers in the way at Iridium.

Latest report. Sound check done.  Band went to dinner, Natasha and Glo were let in ahead of doors open to get a peek at the setup. Staff said they were very excited to have RCFP playing there.

Well, I am.  In 2 weeks!  Big family ta due, Folks 50th Anniversary up in the North Country shindig time.  sad  Wait, that needs a smile too!

Bright side, maybe I'll possibly get to watch (join?) Lenny Castro on some percussion at the Baked Potato on a random song at a random time, just some random thoughts about next time......... big_smile

Not surprised about webcast.  I doubt tomorrow.  Sunday, I don't also have much belief at all.  A DVD officially and any fan output afterwards will do me just fine anyway.

Just got in from the show! Excellent time! Joe, Tal, Ron, Renato, Mike and Daniel were wailing and grooving. All kinds of funky stuff going on. Two new songs "One Phone Call" and "Steppin In It", no singing, all instrumental. Mike Hickey gave us the setlist so now we'll have that to refer to when uploading the videos. Tal told us they are filming all three nights so that way he has a bunch to pick and choose from. Had a great time hanging out with Gloria, Brian, her friend Cristine and Cristine's husband and two friends. Cristine also contacted some other friends while we were there and they are buying the 8pm Saturday show. So, Ron, and Jay, Saturday is sold. Brian and Gloria were going to leave after the first set, but we convinced them to stay because of the extras we had for that second set. Ron and Jay you don't have to worry about that second set since we took care of it. The only one that didn't get used was the 2 extras for the first set.
Video came out good since we were right in front. Joe was in the back corner so at times his fingering is hidden, but who cares. Nice to have better lighting than the Baked Potato so we could finally see Ron and Mike. Will be uploading some as soon as I get it copied to the external hard drive. Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings. When we told Tal we would be there all 3 nights, he said good because it's just going to get better and better!

Oh, and by the way we are listening to Phil's audio now, f###ing amazing!!
