Topic: Fleetwood Mac!

Well, I saw Fleetwood Mac last night for the first time in Dallas, and it was an awesome show! They sounded great and played for over 2 hours. Lindsey Buckingham is an awesome guitarist, Stevie is a great singer, John McVie is a great bassist, and of course, Mick Fleetwood is a great drummer. I'll definitely seen them again if there's another tour at some point. Here's the setlist from last night:

Second Hand News
The Chain
Dreams
Sad Angel
Rhiannon
Not That Funny
Tusk
Sisters of the Moon
Sara
Big Love (Lindsey Buckingham solo)
Landslide (Stevie & Lindsey solo)
Never Going Back Again (Stevie & Lindsey solo)
Without You
Gypsy
Eyes of the World
Gold Dust Woman
I'm So Afraid
Stand Back (Stevie Nicks song)
Go Your Own Way

Encore:
World Turning (featuring Mick Fleetwood Drum solo, which was awesome!!)
Don't Stop

Encore 2:
Silver Springs
Say Goodbye (Stevie & Lindsey solo)

Re: Fleetwood Mac!

Were the tickets reasonable? I've seen them many times and while I agree on the musicianship it seems like (to me) they are overpriced for the similar set lists I've seen in the recent past. One mans opinion

Re: Fleetwood Mac!

Ticket for others were a bit pricey, but fortunately for me I won free tickets on the radio. so I didn't have to pay anything.

Best way to see a show!

Re: Fleetwood Mac!

Cant go to everything, and since Lindsey Buckingham was so awful with his own band that it turned me off to Fleetwood Mac I decided to pass. Plus Im getting much more into the Peter Green days than Rumours et al.

Re: Fleetwood Mac!

I need to get more albums with the Peter Green era music. I have one album called Boston Blues, but I need to locate others as well. I've heard that Mr. Wonderful & Then Play On are both great.

Re: Fleetwood Mac!

Then Play On - one of my favourite albums of all time. Not a bad track on it.

Re: Fleetwood Mac!

Seconded for 'then play on' big_smile

Come on the Blades (sorry Idolbone just had to borrow your line)
