Topic: Looking for a live video (A Place in My Heart)

Hi all,
I'm fairly new to the JB scene and still working through all of Joe's works.  I've found a new one (to me) today and am so crazy about this one.  It's a little different from the JB works I've been listening to, but OMG I love the guitar work in this song.  Can someone point me to a live version of this one?  A Place in My Heart
Thanks!

I'm addicted.

Unfortunately, Joe has not played this song live as of yet so there won't be any live versions available.

Thanks, Lee.  I guess this is what happens when a new JB crazed fan uploads all the music into her ipod and plays it nonstop on shuffle.  I haven't learned which songs are on which album, which are older or newer, etc.  This song is certainly not one of his most complicated pieces of guitar work, but something in it just speaks to me.  Grabs me.  Makes me more addicted.  Sighhhh

Maybe when I catch him in the fall he'll play it.

Fingers crossed. I was hoping for this on one of the recent London dates. In my opinion, it's one of Joe's greatest songs. Quality writing from Bernie Marsden - to my ears it's already a British Blues classic.

Though there is no live version to be found, how about reading Joe's own words about the track from DTTD?  Here's the specific reference, but that link will let you see what he said about them all.

Play like you've worked at it, and don't worry about sounding like your influences.  You can't cheat on them, or your practice, anyway.  If you've worked hard at your skill, your audience will know it.

Thanks for posting Bernie's version with Cherry Mewis singing.

Nice to see the songwriter's interpretation of his work, and hear the reference to Joe's version.

EDIT:  To add that the video felt too short, even at 7:34...but only because I could have listened to a lot more of that soulful singing and guitar.
