If you find yourself at a loose-end for the May Day Bank Holiday week-end, you could also drop along to the Guisborough R'n'B club's festival. Not the cheapest, I'll grant, but Kath's organised another line-up that's as tasty are the chilli they serve:-

Here in Durham, we had all of May's rain on Friday night / Saturday morning - hope that's got it all out the way for the coming holiday week-end which is Hebden Bridge's festival. The town was hit badly last year with floods, twice in the space of a few weeks, so the festival will be a shot in the arm for the area and hopefully a boost for the local economy.

Everybody, players and punters, have a great and DRY week-end.
