I dont think you can put a price on seeing Zeppelin back together with most of the original guys... thats gonna be one kick-ass concert!

I think it's a big deal, myself. The greatest band ever, reuniting. Huge deal.

We see eye to eye on a lot of things, but I have to agree with Deezer here.  I want you to know that you fit the perfect example of the fan that Robert Plant spoke about when he was interviewed in the Philly area last tour. (June 05)  To paraphrase what Plant was trying to say, fans can't compare now to back then, it will NEVER be the same.  Any fan that holds high expectations like that just bring bad karma to the concert.  Now as far as your comment over at the JT thread, not all of Zep's shows were 100% for lots of reasons...They may just practice this time around and sound amazing, you seem kinda' hard on the hammer of the gods.  One cannot even measure the trickle down effect Led Zeppelin had on many bands that followed.  I don't know if I'll ever be able to forgive you for your comments. 

As far as I'm concerned, the only thing that could be better than this led Zeppelin reunion is Sir Paul and Ringo joining forces with Dhani Harrison and Julian & Sean Lennon.  That would also be a HUGE deal!

*sigh* I still say "I believe it when I see it".  It COULD be a big deal.  To say the very least...That's IF nothing tragic or unforseen comes between now and "The Date".  I would love to see it (rotsa ruck) and say "I believe", for the record.  I see (psychologically speaking, not in the physical cents) easy money written on the walls, graffiti style...Success is a virtual guarantee.  That said, 25 million people want tickets and "one night only" (I didn't use caps for reason), doesn't anyone remember Elvis Presley singing "Don't be cruel, to a heart that's true"??????? They should come down off their jukebox and pay some homage to "masters" they riffed-off, I mean emulated, using Baby, Let's Play House, as sung by Elvis as a "tipping point" to try to play to the Houses of the Holy of the masses, translation: as a practical compromise, MY (meaning your personal nearest very large urban city) hometown.  Pink Floyd played The Wall live very limited, but if I have to be the first and / or only one to say it...they owe it to the Western Hemisphere to play at least one place and one time. I say that this this one place and this one time only.

I managed to register this morning.  Yes the chances of getting a ticket are slim to say the least but 20,000 people have to get them so I'll take my chance with the rest of them!  I've been a massive Led Zep fan since the early 70s and the only thing that could top this reunion would be to see the Floyd touring again.  There goes that squadron of pigs again ......

That would be great if they do release a DVD.  There has been over 25 million applications submitted and they are extending the deadline to enter for two days.  Those 20,000 people should be in for a special evening!
