Topic: Hello!

Hey everyone,
I made a post earlier but I said I would do a real introduction so here it is! I'm Ben and I have been playing guitar for 10 years. Joe has been my biggest influence for a long time now, so I look forward to learning from all of you here. I just went to my third Bonamassa concert on Tuesday and despite him being sick, Joe put on an absolutely incredible show. Anyway, here's a video of my playing.

We "meet" again.  Thanks for a bit more info, and the latest vid.  Very nice, and liked the 3 guitar contrast. Sparked me to also check out your other vids on YouTube.

If you don't mind me asking, since you mention playing for 10 years, were you like maybe 8 when you started?  I'm an old fart, myself, which makes me a bad judge of age based on appearances alone. tongue

I definitely like to see a young player who is obviously very into the blues thing (and much more, as well).  I can't play a lick, so you won't learn anything about that from me, for sure.  (Though I can play a pretty serviceable blues harp, or like to think so--and have a few kind friends who humor me, on that count.)

Play like you've worked at it, and don't worry about sounding like your influences.  You can't cheat on them, or your practice, anyway.  If you've worked hard at your skill, your audience will know it.

Welcome!  Great playing!  I have considered a mark V, they seem like great amps.
