Thanks Jane!
Very well stated Jane. I concur completely. Time and opinions change as much as Joe's music seems to. The best thing to me is that this forum is a seemingly living thing that changes and adapts as time goes on. Posters come and go, some stay a while, leave and then come back, some forever lurk and that is a part of it too since they may eventually join when the mood strikes. Let it ride.

Yeah, I was just curious because I remember some being moved in the past and just wondered what the protocol was, not that I'm anywhere near having this happen yet, but just good to know.
Thanks Jane and with you living so close (fells point is loved) we'll meet for sure. Unfortunately,as they say I have generally "too much time on my hands"......
R.I.P Dr. Joyce Brothers. You are missed.

"Too much time on my hands" = Not enough guitar playing.
If I had that pretty new blue Les Paul I know where my hands would be.........not on a keyboard ....... or at least not as much.

It hasn't arrived yet but agreed.

I hope we all hear about that guitar when you get it and once again congrats on the 1k posts and just a little joking around.

Joking is fine! I have a "wound vac" on my left foot so playing and getting around is hard. Hope to get it off soon.
with all due respect to the late Doctor, I am wondering if you placing this here is in any way saying you will be needing a recomendation for a new shrink? haven't quite been able to wrap my head around your mystery posts.....

I don't need no doctor. I don't need a new shrink, don't have an old shrink, well, maybe here and there, more bulges than shrinks. Besides Bonametal, remember, I am Bonamental! No Bahs between here and Oz...
Oh, dear, here's the problem, Jane. I figured it out. I made an incorrect entry and was totally forgetful due to my great grief over losing Dr. Brothers. She was an amazing person to me and I have, since a youngster, always been fascinated by her. I really was drawn in by her voice, which had some kind of perhaps magical, mystical tonality that resonated within me. She spoke, I was not only helpless to hang on every single word, about any topic whatsoever, even those not considered professionally topical, but even her pauses in conversation seemed to have a mesmerizing quality, and I came to feel a sense of Joy from JOYce. A kid's silliness, I suppose. Even a personal anecdote always seemed to be interlaced with simple profundity. And as I shower plaudits upon her even more now I exacerbate my error further. And when I have these troubles, and the compass is untrue, I turn to persons and reference material to get back on track. You have provided the personal touch, thank-you kindly, and I researched and found the reference material I though I had memorized but obviously have had a slippage of sorts, you know what I mean?
I always seem to pop on here and ignore the sticky's everywhere, I guess unless I am bored or something, you know what I mean? But, as reference material, there it was! The posting guidlines sticky! Just what I needed, actually. I had to read them again, and boy, it was very plain I had gone astray. I saw and highlighted where I had my difficulties with memory. That caused a lot of internal wrenching for me. Anyway, I guess I am here to say I am sorry, but what I have highlighted is where I saw the light.

Dog gonnit you, you forced me to pull out me old hip waders.
Bully! Bully!
I hope I didn't hurt your feelings. Wow! I should have known. I apologize if I did in any way whatsoever....
Bully! Bully! Bully s/he said. Was I right or was I wrong? For that is the question.
;>)~
I did a search and the Bonametal posts are equally split between General and Off Topics. So as Jane said there are no hard rules concerning where they are posted. I did however move this to off topics if anyone wanted to still comment. It was getting a bit conversational. Feel free to carry on here as the posts are more conversational by nature.
Thanks Jim!
Jeez bump, you came in here and hit your Bonametal in a phase where I spent less time than usual here, so I'm kind of dazed and confused by such a speedy thousand posts....but it's all good, so let me contribute a heartfelt (and copyrighted by Rocket) Bonabah to this topic!
