Topic: Led Zep plus Jason Bonham to reunite in London in November?!

There was a headline on Yahoo ("Led Zeppelin Ramble On: Dancing days are here again, because the three members of Led Zeppelin are reuniting") with a link that took me to Yahoo Music where they have the following blurb:


"OK, moving on to happier stories, such as...dancing days are here again, because the three surviving members of Led Zeppelin are finally getting back together! Yep, hard rock fans still dazed and confused by recent news of the long-delayed Van Halen reunion have even more reason to celebrate, now that this even longer-delayed reunion is reportedly in the works. Incredibly, according to NME.com, frontman Robert Plant is in talks this week with fellow Led Zep legends Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones about a Zeppelin tour that'll hopefully kick off in London this November. Presumably late drummer John Bonham's son, Jason Bonham (last seen banging skins for celebreality band Damnocracy on VH1's Supergroup), will fill in behind the drumkit for the Zep trek; since Damnocracy mouthpiece Sebastian Bach is busy trying to launch a hip-hop career on MTV's Celebrity Rap Superstars (more on that HERE), we're guessing Damnocracy are on indefinite hiatus and Jason will therefore thankfully be free..."

Very cool news if true.

Its actually kinda funny you say this- I was just reading an article last night where they were talking to Robert Plant, asking him why Zep doesn't get back together with Jason on drums- Plant basically said something about how Zep could only be performed correctly as the original lineup (with John on drums)... he said something like John was one of a kind and Jason would make the band different (completely paraphrasing all this- this is the meaning I got out of the article)...

This seems to pop up every couple of months but there has never been any truth to it, but you never know!

Apparantely There is Gonna be a Press Release Tomorrow 12th Sept on a Re-union Concert at The o2 Arena in London For Nov/Dec in Respect of Led Zep's Manager's Passing .......... We'll See if it's all a Media Hype in a Day or 2

Actually, I think it is looking more believable.  My son told me yesterday that some zep site that he goes to suddenly changed yesterday.  It had been how the west was won forever...it didn't provide any details..but there is a buzz.

The official website to pre-register for the lottery crashed within minutes.  I had the formed fill out and pressed submit but down it went...  Have to pre-register by the 17th...
