Topic: Milwaukee - Riverside Theatre - April 27, 2013

Set list almost the same as Minneapolis the night before with Midnight Blues replacing DTTD.

Acoustic set:
Seagull
Jelly Roll
Jockey Full Of Bourbon
Athens To Athens
Woke Up Dreaming

Electric set:
Slow Train
Dust Bowl
Dislocated Boy
Midnight Blues
Who's Been Talking
Django
Mountain Time
Young Man Blues
Yonders Wall
Ballad Of John Henry

Encore:
Sloe Gin
Just Got Paid

Wonderful show start to finish - honestly one of the best shows I've ever seen from JB and the band. Sound was excellent from the front row. Great crowd, at least everyone around us was. Great versions of "Athens To Athens" and "Young Man Blues", but really many standouts.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the show in Milwaukee. I was at the show in Minneapolis and I too think it was the best show so far. That was number five for me and number six will be in Rockford Tuesday night. Its one heck of a show and I recommend it for anyone.

I've only seen Joe 3x now but I thought the chemistry was excellent among the band members. Arlan is a great addition to the band. A most awesome night!

Just seen Joe & the Guys in Minneapolis as well. Great show but at one point organ solo was way too loud hurt my ears. Other than that loved the acoustic set and he rocked the State Theatre 2 1/2 hours

Re: Milwaukee - Riverside Theatre - April 27, 2013

Found a video of Mountain Time. Looks like Joe was sporting some white pants and black jacket!

Awesome indeed!  Another Milwaukee show and another Shank Hall reference...the man does not forget his roots!
I wouldn't have minded a double length set of acoustic either.
Arlan is so cool!  Man, he gets into it and what a player.  I had visions of Jon Lord during his solo!  All that was missing was the keyboard rocking back and forth.
Joe, don't wait 2+ years to come back, ya hear?!

Lee. I have to agree that this was one of the best shows I have seen Joe do! Show # 41 for me. I really like the tweaking of John Henry, albeit minus the slide sad and Just Got Paid.... love the grumble of the LP!

Some of you may remember me as the guy that always audio taped shows at Shank Hall. I am still at it and captured this one as well. Will put it on Dimeadozen put may find another universal place to put it for those not registered on that site.

My husband and I are still reeling after Saturday’s show and with the anticipation of what’s to come Wednesday, I can’t see straight! I had to run an errand today and between thinking about Saturday and Wednesday and blasting SILT on the stereo, I GOT LOST – IN MY HOMETOWN! When I first bought all my tix I thought for about 2 seconds that seeing Joe 3x in one season might be too much, but I know now it won’t be enough! Bring it on!

That set includes all the A list songs in my mind from the current tour sets. I got to see all of the above performed in the NW but not all in one night. Had to be epic. Something about this tour that hits especially hard.
