Does anyone know if they got the dancers on stage for Bad Girl/Backstabber?

My pleasure, and apologies for not having posted them myself here.

No, no 'dancers' on stage with the boys. I was disgusted by the fact that the 'exotic dancers' drew a bigger "crowd" than the music. sad

It is, however, fascinating to see how silicone boobs stay motionless while everything else is moving.....

Lol George. You have to keep in mind that the music was secondary. Should really have been in the same hall as the convention. I think it was the first time they had a big stage and may be different next year.
Sorry we did not hook up afterwards, we got acosted by a radio and tv crew, they kept moving us to different locations. Next time we are over we will treat you.

A bit "science-y", but wonder if the silicone filling in the implants is an example of a non-newtonian fluid. Get in front of some bass speakers, and interesting things could happen:-

Re: Virgil and the Accelerators

Caught the first night of the Michael Schenker / VATA tour last night at a packed Stockton ARC. Bloody good night it was too. VATA were only given 30 minutes, but boy did they fill it. Virgil had his Guitar God socks on and went at it full tilt. Only 4 songs, but one was a newbie, Take Me Higher (?) little bit of Southern rock in it, Virgil is expanding styles on the new album, before the primal roar that is Working Man. A cracking 88 followed and then the lads went all out on Are You Experienced? Well supose if you’re going to support another former guitar prodigy and now legend, you may as well put your cards on the table.

As for Schenker, he may have had his set backs over the years, but he’s come through a lean, mean rocking machine and clearly was enjoying himself last night; with an old mate on vocals and Scorpions legends on backline, it almost turned the clock back to 1981 for me. And with his own back catalogue as well as UFO and Scorpions numbers to plunder, gave an ace show.

The new and the old, separated by 30 years, but united in blazing rock. Works for me.

Aberdeen next - only about 5 & half hours off, interesting to see what you get.....

He's fairly talented, too.

To answer the previous question, Jimmie Vaughn has not been in the T-Birds for 23 years.

Re: Virgil and the Accelerators

The DVD/CD for the Marshall show will be available on Amazon (US) starting April 30.  That was an amazing gig and the DVD more than does it justice. I've had mine since January and it is great.  Lots of folk from here are well represented in the front line.
