Had my first 'real' gig last week and was pretty much scared shitless tongue Wasn't too bad in the end but.... man, those nerves! The nerves and adrenaline really made me go a bit overboard on most solo's... - no control in bends etc.
First time with the band with the new gear (amp broke down before last rehearsal) and our singer was pretty sick.

thank you for those kind words, he does seem to have turned a corner over the last month with his playing, it is funny how with playing it is work, work, work and then all of a sudden things come together, his 1:1 teacher is really concentrating on technique now, - this lesson is different where a bunch of them get together and focus on a song to perform and then play it on stage.
Just had a call tonight asking if he and his drummer would play a 30 minute set at an opening of a local community building, - out of small steps and all that!
Fear not though about the hair, - I remind him that I had a full head of hair when I was his age and now look at me! smile Although don't they say that you inherit your hair from your mothers side? So that is a Brazilian mop he has!

If you saw Bill Bailey on the tv I am a lookalike (not intentionally) Same amount of hair, same length and thickness. Definitely jealous of the mop. lol
