Topic: Sacramento Show

Here's the set list with some remarks about some of the songs. Please correct me if I made mistakes in the order of songs and what I remember about them. I may have forgot a song or two.

Acoustic Set

Palm Trees, Helicopters and Gasoline
Seagull: with Tal on percussion and Arlan playing keyboards)
Jelly Roll: with Tal on percussion and Arlan playing keyboards)
Jockey Full of Bourbon: (I think this was the song Tal and Joe going back forth Arlan playing keyboards and accordion and having an accordion solo).
Athens to Athens: Jammed on this for awhile.
Woke Up Dreaming

Electric Set

Slow Train
Dust Bowl
Midnight Blues

Dislocated Boy: Stretched out this song. Arlan had a long solo on keys.
Who's Been Talking?
Sloe Gin: Joe's solo was different from the other 2 times I've seen him and different from any recorded versions.
Looking Over Yonder Walls: Did a funky version of this with a lot of jamming and solos.
Young Man Blues: Similar to Beacon Theater version with a Drum solo
The Ballad of John Henry: long keyboard and guitar solos.

Encore:

Asking Around For You: keyboard solo
Just Got Paid: A little different from other times I've seen him but still had the Dazed and Confused part.

Re: Sacramento Show

Pretty accurate from what I heard. With Arlan in the mix the keyboards are featured more than ever. No sign of Shred, what up with that????

Re: Sacramento Show

Looks right to me, trying to resurrect a file error on my audio to be sure.  The arrangements of a lot of songs sounded a bit different than Ive seen/heard.

Does Arlan have another keyboard on the floor or was he playing footpedals by hand? lol

Great seats, great show. Wish I was in Vegas tonight!

I didn't hear of you going until late on and never heard boo from Shred, so I presumed he was busy with life.  Otherwise I would've been there.

So you like the acoustic integration, eh?! smile
