Went to a Uli show tonight. I'm not a real big fan of his style of playing but his band was tight. Three guitars, keyboard, bass, drums. One of the guitarists was a young kid but he was no slouch. Somebody mentioned it was his kid. I don't know that for sure. Played for 3 hours. Excellent night for only $10!

Uli is cool, he turned up at a small local Jam night and played all night long just for fun! Really nice guy.

He's a 16 year old English Blues kid called 'Ali Clinton'

Re Ali Clinton, he got up on stage at The Robin2 with two other young lads on 12th April 13 as support act. Their band is called Broth3r.
Ali was absolutely superb. He then got on stage and played alongside Uli Jon Roth and matched him note for note. This young man is going places. The band has released a dvd called Live at Route 44. I am not affiliated to the band or Ali in any way. YouTube has footage.

I saw him in a tiny venue in South London last year. He was technically excellent but it was a weird vibe - it was like being back in 1972
