I told them i was going to see them together at Bergen Fest in Norway in June.
Today my dad called and told me they also had bought tickets. And since my dad don't like flying they are going to drive almost 500 miles to get to the concert. He said they were going to plan their hole vacation around this concert..

That is SO cool!

I predict they will totally say it was well worth it. wink

Has there been any word about the new Joe and Beth album? Song list? release date?

Check the previous page to this thread. We were just discussing the lack of info. Release date evidently May 21.

Re: Joe and Beth Hart

I don't think I have looked forward to a new album this much since I was a teenager, and I'm now 53!

In 2011 when my son and I heard Joe was going to do a CD with 'Beth Hart' we looked her up and were both blown away. When Don't Explain came out we listened to it for the first time together. I will never forget the glances we exchanged and the emotions we felt.

We have since seen Beth live three times and Joe five times. We think seeing them together could be the best gig we have ever been to, and we have seen a lot of gigs in the past 7 years.

When we saw the joint mini European tour announced we just had to get tickets, and went for Bergen as we have both wanted to visit Norway, even though we can't really afford it. Then the Hampton Court gig came along and we decided to get tickets for that instead and cancel the Norway trip, to save some dosh.

However having read this thread it made me think perhaps we could do both as I haven't tried to sell the Bergen tickets yet. I would have to change a flight which might cost me but we might also end up on the same flight to the UK as Joe and Beth! I'll look into that this week.

So roll on 21 May and 22 and 24 June!

This says they will be touring with a horn section. Is that right?

Re: Joe and Beth Hart

I wonder if the first and last songs, Them There Eyes & Strange Fruit are Billie Holiday songs. Hope so.

Those 2 are gonna take Emotion to another kind of Level

Nutbush City Limit - Ike & Tina Turner surely?

Song choice sounds interesting...

Re: Joe and Beth Hart

Folks,

I need to sell my two Joe and Beth tickets for Saturday 22 June in Bergen, Norway as I now have tickets for the London gig.

I paid £114 for the two tickets.  I can sell for £100 for the two to any forum member.  PM me if you are interested. They are electronic tickets so I can transfer them by e-mail.
