Topic: Vancouver 4-10???????

Did anyone go to this show? How about a review (I'm sure it was awesome) and set list. I'm gonna see Joe at the Seattle Paramount tomorrow night (Friday 4-12) but I'm dying for some info. I watched 3 Joe concerts last night to get primed for the concert. It's been about 18 months since he was here last and I'm having MAJOR withdrawals.

Joe tweeted today that his voice last night was still a little weak.  But I bet he still delivered!

I need some Joe...NOW.

Laurie and I are doing the Northwest Trifecta - Seattle tomorrow night, then hop the train to Portland for Saturday's show, then train to Eugene for Monday's show (front row center seats - woohoo!), then train home on Tuesday.  Three nights with Joe ought to sate us for a while.... big_smile

Anyone else making the pilgrimage or possibly going to be on Amtrak with us?  We're totally tuned up and ready for some awesome music.

Thanks for the link to the review RV Flyer. Fortunately, Joe will have 48 hours to rest his voice and recuperate from the flu.

Re: Vancouver 4-10???????

I guess these reviewers have to throw something in there not to make it sound like a love affair

but he can sing a song like the poppy Driving Towards The Daylight with just enough emotional depth to make it work.

sounds like they think Joe doesn't have enough emotion in his singing.
I kind of really dig Joe's vocals..

(If only I had 1% of Joe's guitar talent)

Re: Vancouver 4-10???????

Yeah, I wondered about that - each to his own,  I guess.  Joe's got all the emotion I need, vocally and guitar-wise :-)

Laurie and I are squared away the the Olive 8 in Seattle, getting ready for a killer show tonight and then the train trek to Portland tomorrow.  Hard to think of a better way to do a long weekend marital/music getaway...... big_smile

Re: Vancouver 4-10???????

Hope the train trek is fun. I am sure seeing Joe  will make it worth it.  The review was pretty good but do not understand why folks criticize joes  voice .  His voice to me is so honest and filled with emotion
