Topic: Grrrr...

Is there some other forum where I can go to vent about a particular bass player who likes to blather on about "love" and "peace" and yet seems to continually slag and lie about a former bandmate just because this un-named bass player can't get what he wants??????

I just read ANOTHER article about this "feud" and I CAN'T BELIEVE what this asshat is saying now. "Peace and love" my arse. What a pr!ck!!

Re: Grrrr...

I thought the bass player said previously that he was not going to speak of it again...
evidently changed his mind and couldn't resist.  Where was the article?  Can you post?

Re: Grrrr...

I beleive the title of the topic is the clue. Let see who put out a cd with that title the last few months?

When I was a child I spoke as a child, But all I heard was how I should get ahead,
Now growing up it ain't anything but all This indecision with these debts and doubts
And worries hanging over my head. When I was a child I spoke as a child,
I wish I could remember what I said.

Grrr...bass player...

Darryl Jones dissin Joe when he should be getting ready for a big summer US tour, that sold more millions in tickets just today (4/12/13)? smile

Can we guess the recent article (seems a little old news but was recently posted)?  My guess...

I did see THIS bass player sign off on some of his blogs with "Peace and love".

No laughing matter / feeling your frustration.  Don't know what goes on behind the glass, but keep it in house.

Lot of guessing going on in this thread.

Darryl Jones?  Think it's the first time I  think I seen his name on here.

Made me laugh, cause this is one of my favorite lines regarding him:

And the next sound I heard was "Darryl...this is Miles. When can you be in New York?" And it was a Monday. I was trying not to be too, you know, eager. So I said, "I can be there Wednesday." And he said, "What's gonna take you so long? You gonna walk?" So I told him, "Well, I'll be there tomorrow morning." And I went and auditioned, and he hired me.

Glad he had some Michael Johnson shoes to get there before Wednesday.  Must have ran Michael Johnson speed lol

Re: Grrrr...

Sounds like some people don't let things die. We can't use the name - waaah. If The Beatles came back with another name would you see them?

Re: Grrrr...

I've played in bands all my life; I'm sure a lot of you have as well.

You'd thing that at this level, band nonsense like this would not exist...especially for a 'super group' of sorts.

Childish nonsense.

Re: Grrrr...

Stupid question - didn't the other members know what the deal was when they started - Joe had the name?

Hi bump.  This whole flap has been beat to death in other BCC threads on here.  You can use the Search function to find them.  Thanks.

Re: Grrrr...

Oh...now I understand...and my thoughts are...who cares ? Honestly...Joe is better on his own....or at least have a band where Glenn Hughes isn't screaming at me !!
