Topic: Joe's favorite wine?
We have tickets for Phily, planning to catch Joe after performance at bus. Would like to give him a bottle of favorite wine, any suggestions? Thank You.

He likes big, bold Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons such as Chateau Montelena. (about the price of your ticket)
Rick
somehow I knew he was not a white zinfandel kind of guy. What else would we expect when he owns so many '59 Paul's, just the vintage best please. You don't have to get him an $80 bottle, there are a lot of good CabSavs in the $20 to $30 range that he would appreciate very much. Just don't take him a "jug" of Carlo Rossi.

He likes Barolo very much, Italian's best wine but very expensive. I have my own JB wine, always a present for Joe and band for many years. Which wine?..........sorry!!
Some good full bodied Spanish will do as well like Rioja's, Ribera Del Duero, Toro.

Oh. I thought you meant Joe's favorite "whine" - his tickets are too expensive.

The days when SNL was funny....
Thought I heard that Kevin Shirley came out with a line of wines, but haven't heard a peep about it in the last few months. Anyone know anything on that front?
Just bottled up my homemade apple wine, made with apples from my own trees, I call it "Woke Up Drinking "

Haha! nice one...
oh yeah, too funny. Are you able to test it to check the alcohol content? You made me think of wines here, going back to the 70's the state stores had an apple wine and a peach wine made by Bama, who still make mayo and an assortment of jellies/jams. Both of those wines were sold at 22% alcohol content (not 22 proof). Buzz on to say the least.

It turned out about 8.5 percent, really good flavor but a little dry. I also made some cranberry/apple and apple/ grape that turned out really good, now I have to start drinking it, got about 150 bottles on the rack right now some of it's from last years batches.

If you need any help clearing out some of that inventory....
