What about the Story of two Quarrymen?

"Rock ON & Keep the Faith"

Re: London 2013 4 Show Highlights

thanks Micheal, - but I would have to say that from where I was standing/sitting the SBE version of "Last Kiss" and "TBOJH" over the RAH versions, - Last Kiss for the brass which was blended in so well and TBOJH for overall sound and Arlen's solo, - but of course my favouritism for that may have something to do with it being the first time of hearing it. smile
Either way, just thankful to have heard such excellence twice in one week.

Re: London 2013 4 Show Highlights

It has to be a set release. The series of gigs was a retrospective on Joe's career, how can it be broken up?

Thanks for sorting that list Michael. Nice work.

Got to agree with Rick on this one.  Even taking out the repeat songs, add in the usual "Bonus Material" that will go with any release and  I can't see how those 4 nights can be cut down to one DVD release other than a box set, maybe with the individual gigs released seperately as well for those who want to pick & choose.  So much great material from a (probable) one off event, it would be a waste to leave any of it on the cutting room floor ... imo

Re: London 2013 4 Show Highlights

I was talking to one of the camera men at one of the gigs - he was under the impression that each show would be on it's own DVD and come out as a set.  Granted I wasn't talking to the boss, but I like the sound of that.

Remember this is the "year of the dvd". There won't be any other cd releases to dilute the market or strain the pocketbook. I would feel cheated if any of the songs were left out. Each show stands on its own. It was a monumental effort by Joe and deserves it. I can't think of any other contemporary artist that could have pulled this off.

Why's that? I was really hoping for a new CD this year... at least we have Joe Bonamassa/Beth Hart 2nd album.. but I'd rather have a new Joe Bonamassa CD!

Still, these DVDs are going to be f*ing awesome! By the look of the setlists, Borderline could be my favorite!!

I'm broke, motherf**ker!
