Topic: Richmond Show 10/18

Well, I've gone and done it now.  Seeing Joe Friday, October 19th in MD, Saturday the 20th in NY, and Sunday the 21st in 'Jersey wasn't enough, so I bought a seat for Richmond on 10/18.  That'll be 4 shows in 4 days in 4 states!!!!  It's like a Joe-themed vacation.

Anyway-is anybody from the greater-Baltimore area going to Richmond?  If so, perhaps a carpool type deal can be worked out.  Only concern is that I won't be leaving B-More until about 4:30 as I have to work.  If you're interested, drop me a line here.

Hey Rob..While the addiction is not curable there is a wicked withdrawl! I should have told you from the start! Certain fans have been known to get on planes and go many miles for a fix. I can't go but because of the "illness" you will have other addicts around you. Please do me a favor. I'd really like a picture of Joe with the Gigliotti guitar. Theaters offer the best lighting. There's a story behind that guitar on this forum. Anyway, I love  it's golden  glow, it's aura is magic......Thanks, Cathy      Watch for Police persons in Va...bad, bad, bad...isn't there a train?  Good Luck.....

Re: Richmond Show 10/18

Hey Jane:

Yeah, I read every word on that website about 6 times.  Here's what I concluded.  It is a standing-only venue, but they put 3 "sections" of seats close to the state and those are called "Gold Circle" seats.  They are $35, compared to $20 for standing gen. adm.  I could not however find any seating chart or pix showing the location of the seats.  I sent them an email asking for either of the above to illustrate the location of the seats.

I'm not looking forward to fighting rush hour on Baltimore and DC beltways, but there is an opening act, so if I get stuck, I'll still see Joe.  That was the main reason I opted for the extra $$ for the seat.  I didn't want to be the last guy in the gen. adm. venue.  I'm sure I'll be fine.  There is a reason my email is "leadfootrob@yahoo.com" Oh sh*t, I can't use my radar detector in VA.  Uh oh.  Well, anyway, I'm sure I'll get there in time to see The Man.

Cathy:

I'll see what I can do as far as Joe w/ the Gigliotti.  Coincidentally, I dealt wth an atty. in NJ yesterday with the last name Gigliotti.

We'll be at the Richmond show. We have the "gold circle" tickets. I'm so excited! I hope we hear more songs from Sloe Gin. This is by far my most favorite cd by Joe and the boys.

As for the additional fines associated with speeding tickets, it only applies to Virginia drivers, lucky us.

Re: Richmond Show 10/18

There is no seating chart but I did talk with someone at Toads and Section B is in the center.  That is where we got our seats, because they are closer to the stage than the GA seats.

David:

I'm glad you were able to get someone on the phone.  I called and got a machine.  Do you know where section C is relative to either/or the stage or the other sections?

Thanks,
-Rob

There are three sections, a, b and c with B being centre, hope that helps.
